When did you begin playing pipes or drums? 1995

Provide some info about your piping/drumming background, musical influences, and other bands you’ve played with: I decided when I was 11 that I wanted to play the bagpipes, which only lasted for a year. Years later I joined the False Creek Pipe Band where I began playing tenor for a year before joining the Legion 83 (South Burnaby) Pipe Band. After a few short years I became bored with tenor and picked up my passion again with the pipes, playing with the newly formed JP Fell Pipe Band, Triumph Street & Sir John A. Macdonald and finally Maple Ridge before joining PMPB.

High point(s) of your band and/or solo career, including awards or trips: Scotland trips in 2005 and 2006 to the Worlds, Ottawa in 2008 playing on Parliament Hill for the National Firefighters Memorial, Montreal beer tent 2008!

Funniest band moment: Portland drive 2007 with the 3 G’s.
